Learn the benefits of better breathing, brain hemisphericity & the Corpus Collosum - the bridge between the brain hemispheres. Meditation and yoga breathing techniques shown to increase levels of melatonin will be explored in easy stages. Learn how to increase your own melatonin levels, at home, when you need to.
All practices are suitable for beginners and more advanced practitioners.
You have opportunities to ask questions and time to practise the techniques so that you can do them at home in your own time.
Explore the physiology of certain yoga breathing techniques, the nervous and hormonal systems.
Balance Sympathetic & Parasympathetic nervous activity. Understand how the Hypothalamus and Pineal work.
Learn how Melatonin helps maintain the sleep-wake cycle, enhances immune system functioning, is anti aging and anti cancer.

Learn how to use the breath to explore physical and neurological balance in the body, the benefits of yogic breathing for the brain in hemisphericity & the Corpus Collosum - the bridge between the hemispheres.
Asana and pranayama, plus yogic breathing techniques, will be explored in relation to postural balance as well as neurological interventions to assist in maintaining good postural balance, particularly when using any balancing poses in asana.
All practices suitable for beginners as well as for Yoga Teachers and more advanced practitioners.
You will have opportunities to ask questions and time to practise the techniques.
This seminar is for those wishing to deepen their understanding of the neurophysiolgy of yoga using asana & breathing techniques and how they affect the heart, the brain & nervous system.
Explore the physiology of yogic breathing techniques, how to use the breath to balance the brain and body.
